KUWAIT CITY, Dec 31: During campaigns, the General Traffic Department apprehended eight minors who were caught driving without a license less than 24 hours before the close of 2025. According to security sources, these campaigns are an integral part of a firm's strategy to curb dangerous driving behaviors that threaten road users. They highlighted the serious risks posed by minors who drive without a license, which endangers lives and property.
The sources stressed that targeted traffic campaigns against minors have recently contributed to a noticeable drop in accidents, particularly those caused by reckless driving and violations of traffic laws, adding that the department plans to further escalate operations against unlicensed minor drivers, coinciding with the New Year’s celebrations and the security measures implemented by the Ministry of Interior.
