Tracking devices arrived from China seized

KUWAIT CITY, April 14: The security authorities, in coordination with the General Administration of Customs, have arrested a Kuwaiti for importing tracking devices hidden inside stereo headsets.

The air freight customs inspectors suspected the package which arrived from China and after opening it they found remote tracking devices hidden inside headphones.

Such imports of such devices are banned by law. Inquiries carried out by the customs men identified the suspect, who was then arrested and referred for interrogation to know the reason why he imported these devices.

Four packages containing headphones have been seized by the authorities.
