KUWAIT CITY, March 13: The market for children’s toys, entertainment and sports in the country has been booming in the last seven years; while the repercussions of the spread of the coronavirus did not limit its growth, reports Al-Anba daily quoting official figures obtained from the concerned authority. In the year of Corona alone (2020), the market rose by more than percent — an increase in the volume of commodity import, which is a high rate compared to investment in sectors with economic weight but were affected by the Corona crisis.

In addition, the children’s toys market witnessed a remarkable growth in 2021; as the value of its imports during the first nine months of the year reached more than KD 42 million, compared to KD 43.6 million for the whole of 2020.
