KUWAIT CITY, Dec 27: Al-Marshoud Al-Marshoud, Vice President of the Supreme Organizing Committee, confirmed that all preparations are complete for the 12th Atyab Al-Marshoud International Show Jumping Championship, starting January 8 at the Kuwait Equestrian Center. The tournament will feature top riders from Kuwait, the Arab world, the Gulf, and beyond.
“Equestrian sports are among the world’s best, and this championship continues to grow,” said Al-Marshoud, noting that large crowds make the event a true sporting carnival.
Last year’s champion, Anaz Al-Anaz of Sahari Club and the national team, won the 11th edition. Leading Kuwaiti riders include Ali Al-Kharafi, a four-time winner (2018, 2019, 2020, 2024), Rakan Al-Hassawi with two titles, and Abdulrahman Al-Fuzaia, Abdullah Al-Awadhi, Nora Al-Qaud, and Anaz Al-Anaz, each with one title.
