KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16: In coordination with the Capital Governorate Investigations Department police have arrested the suspect who escaped after ‘molesting’ a young Canadian woman while she was jogging along the Arabian Gulf Road coast, precisely off the Second Ring Road opposite a well-known restaurant, reports Al-Anba daily.
The Al-Anba had reported the incident a few days ago but had said the suspect after committing the blatant act had escaped in the waiting car of his friend. Following the suspect’s arrest, he admitted to the charge and said he could not resist doing what he did, but said he was sorry it happened. The friend, in whose car he escaped after committing the crime, said he has nothing to do with the incident and added, saying he had warned his friend not to do it but he did not listen. The suspect has been referred to the Prosecution.
