Title pressure mounts on Al Nassr as Al Hilal waits for final-day slip

RIYADH, May 20: As the 2025-2026 Saudi Roshn League season reaches its dramatic finale today, Al Nassr FC stands on the brink of glory — or heartbreak. The league leader is desperate to avoid losing two major titles within a single week, while Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo faces the possibility of ending another season in Saudi Arabia without a domestic trophy amid relentless pressure from rivals Al Hilal.

Al-Nassr needs a victory when it hosts Damac FC in the decisive 34th and final round to secure its first league crown since 2019. Meanwhile, second-placed Al-Hilal, sitting two points behind, travels to face Al Fayha FC hoping for a slip from the leader. Elsewhere, Al Ittihad Club takes on Al Qadsiah FC.

The pressure is equally intense at the bottom of the table. Damac is still fighting for survival, holding only a two-point cushion above Al Riyadh SC, who occupies the final relegation place ahead of their clash with already relegated Al Okhdood Club.
