NEW YORK, April 24: Apple revealed on Tuesday that it will be hosting a special event on May 7, sparking anticipation among tech enthusiasts. While the company typically keeps details under wraps, the invitation artwork strongly suggests that the event will center around the iPad, prominently featuring an Apple Pencil.

Adding to the speculation, Apple CEO Tim Cook hinted at the unveiling of at least a new Apple Pencil 3 during the event.
