KUWAIT CITY, Jan 29: Acting Director of the Meteorological Department Dhirar Al-Ali warned of possible rainfall tonight (Wednesday), potentially with thunderstorms, extending into early Thursday.

In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al-Ali explained that an intensifying surface low-pressure extension, paired with upper-level lows, will bring increased low- and mid-level clouds, including cumulonimbus formations.

Wind, Visibility, and Sea Warnings

  • Southerly to southeasterly winds will shift northwesterly, light to moderate at 15-55 km/h.
  • Gusts may stir dust, cutting visibility in open areas.
  • Sea waves could exceed 6 feet.

Temperature Outlook

Expect maximums of 20-23°C and minimums of 8-11°C in the coming days.

Motorists and seafarers: Stay alert for reduced visibility and rough conditions.
