Thrilling Start to Asian Handball Championship: Kuwait Club and Kazma Secure Wins

KUWAIT CITY, June 1: Kuwait Club’s commenced their journey to defend their title in the 25th Asian League Championship for Clubs with a hard-fought victory over Bahraini club, securing a 38-36 win in their opening match of the second group. In another thrilling encounter, Kazma dominated the competition, defeating the Indian team “T Sports” with a convincing score of 43-20 in the preliminary round of the first group.

Kuwait Club

Among the other matches played in the first round today, Al-Duhail from Qatar emerged victorious with a score of 39-26 against Tashkent from Uzbekistan, while Shahid Curzon from Iran triumphed over Junior from China with a score of 39-32.

Kazma Club

Looking ahead, the second round will feature five matches today. Kuwait xlub will face off against Iran’s Shahid Curzon at 1.30 pm . While at 5:30 pm, Kazma will take on Iranian Foulath. The day will commence with an Omani match against Indian T-Sports at 9:30 am, followed by Tashkent from Uzbekistan playing against Junior from China at 11:30 am. The day will conclude with a match at 3:30 pm between Al-Duhail from Qatar and Al-Najma from Bahrain.
