KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: The Sheikh Sadd Al-Abdullah Sports Complex will host an exciting Handball Premier League clash tonight, Monday, as Kazma takes on Burgan at 10:00 PM in the final match of Round 13. Earlier at 8:00 PM, Kuwait Club will face Al-Arabi.
The “Whites” lead the league table with 23 points, followed by Burgan with 16, Kazma with 14, Al-Arabi and Qadsia with 12 each, Al-Salmiya with 10, Al-Sulaibikhat with 7, and Al-Nasr with 2 points.
Kazma aims to bounce back and restore its confidence after recent setbacks. At the same time, Al-Arabi looks to recover from last round’s defeat to Burgan and secure the best possible result despite the challenge.
Kuwait Club will field a combination of local talent, including Abdullah Al-Khamis and Saif Al-Adwani, alongside professional players Qatari Francis, Portuguese Victor, and Montenegrin Vladan. Al-Arabi will rely on Mohamed Jawad, Abdullah Mustafa, and their professionals — Tunisian Osama Jaziri and Estonian Diner.
The Kazma vs. Burgan match promises to be just as intense. Kazma seeks to regain form after three consecutive losses to Al-Salmiya and Qadsia, and a surprising draw against Kuwait. A victory would allow Kazma to catch up to Burgan in the standings. Burgan, meanwhile, aims to continue its winning streak and maintain its position, while also seeking revenge after Kazma edged it 32-31 in the first round.
