KUWAIT CITY, Feb 18: The Warriors team clinched the championship title of the Kuwaiti Men’s Ice Hockey League for the 2023-2024 sports season, marking their inaugural triumph with a resounding victory over their rivals, the Stars, by a scoreline of 10-5, relegating the latter to second place. The league’s showdown, organized by the Winter Games Club, spanned 20 intense rounds, featuring six formidable teams from both divisions. While the matches were closely contested, the victorious Warriors managed to seal their fate decisively in the latter stages of the competition.

Bahrain’s team secured the third-place spot after triumphing over Mosads in the ranking match with a score of 10-7, capping off a competitive season filled with thrilling matchups. Sheikh Mubarak Faisal Al-Nawaf Al-Sabah, Vice President of the Kuwait Olympic Committee, commended the club’s efforts, emphasizing the significance of supporting winter sports initiatives alongside their summer counterparts.
