Three years imprisonment given for forging sick leave

KUWAIT CITY, May 13: In a step seen as deterrent and strict ruling in cases of forging sick leaves, the Criminal Court has sentenced an unidentified employee of the Ministry of Health to three years imprisonment with hard labor for forging sick leave, reports Al- Qabas daily. The court in its ruling said the accused did not receive any treatment or visited any government or private clinic or hospital on the dates he said he was sick. Earlier the court had refused to release the suspect on any guarantee.
