Three stripped of Kuwaiti citizenship

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 6: The official gazette, “Kuwait Al-Youm,” published Decree No. 137/2026, withdrawing Kuwaiti citizenship certificates from three individuals, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Article 1 of the decree stipulates the withdrawal of Kuwaiti citizenship certificates from the three individuals, as well as the withdrawal of Kuwaiti citizenship from those who acquired it through dependency on the citizenship certificate holders. Article 2 stipulates that the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior shall implement this decree, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the official gazette.
