KUWAIT CITY, Fen 11: The General Administration of Customs, represented by the Airports Customs Department, has foiled three separate attempts to smuggle narcotics through Terminals 5 (T5) and 1 (T1) at Kuwait International Airport. The passengers had arrived on flights from Delhi, India.

In a third incident, also at Terminal 1, customs officials arrested a passenger found with five pieces of hashish weighing 26 grams, in addition to four tramadol pills without a valid medical prescription. A seizure report was prepared and the suspect, along with the confiscated items, was referred to the General Department for Drug Control and Alcohol Suppression for further legal action.

The General Administration of Customs reaffirmed its continued vigilance and strict monitoring of all customs entry points, stressing its firm commitment to combating attempts to smuggle prohibited substances into the country in coordination with relevant authorities to safeguard public security and community safety.
