KUWAIT CITY, Oct 9: A dispute involving three Kuwaiti citizens at the Aqila intersection, on the road separating Riqa and Aqila, escalated into mutual accusations of assault, verbal abuse and intentional damage. According to a security source, one citizen went to Riqa Police Station and reported that he had been assaulted and that his vehicle was damaged, accusing a male and a female citizen of being responsible.
The two accused parties, however, gave a conflicting account, claiming that the complainant had attacked them. All three parties submitted preliminary medical reports from Adan Hospital documenting the injuries they claimed to have sustained. The case was registered as an incident involving an exchange of blows, intentional damage and verbal abuse and was referred to the competent authorities for further investigation to establish the circumstances and determine responsibility.
