KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16: Two expatriates were killed in a hit-and-run incident on Mutlaa Road, authorities said, after traffic and rescue patrols rushed to the scene and forensic teams removed the bodies.
A security source said that the accident occurred near the Mutlaa area, where the victims died on impact due to severe injuries. The source added that the driver involved — a Kuwaiti citizen — has been detained pending legal action, and a case is being registered over the incident.
In a separate incident, the General Fire Force reported that an expatriate construction worker died after falling from a building under construction in the Shuwaikh area. Firefighters from the Search and Rescue Center responded on Thursday afternoon, confirming the worker’s death and handing the site over to the competent authorities.
