KUWAIT CITY, March 29: Three Asian expatriates were arrested in Fintas area in possession of locally manufactured liquor, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Fintas area when they noticed a vehicle picking up speed after noticing the patrol vehicle. Securitymen chased the vehicle and ordered the driver to pull over but he ignored them.Eventually, securitymen managed to force the driver to stop and checked his details as well as the details of his two passengers to discover they are Asian expatriates.They checked the vehicle and found a number of bottles with locally manufactured liquor. The suspects were arrested and referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal actionIndian arrested: Security personnel from the Capital Governorate have arrested an Indian for traffi cking in marijuana, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily quoting security sources said, securitymen acting on a tip-off put the suspect under surveillance for some time and caught him red-handed in possession of eight kilos of hashish at an unidentifi ed location as soon as he got into a taxi.
