KUWAIT CITY, Aug 23: Farwaniya security personnel arrested three Asian expatriates accused of promoting and selling locally manufactured liquor in the Hasawi and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh areas. The suspects were caught in possession of 23 bottles of alcohol ready for sale.
Authorities reported that the suspects were intercepted during a routine patrol in Hasawi after being spotted carrying suspicious bags. Upon attempting to flee, they were chased down and arrested. Investigations revealed that the individuals had been producing alcohol in their residence and delivering it to customers. The three suspects confessed to their activities during questioning. Security officials confirmed they will likely face deportation and be blacklisted from re-entering Kuwait.
