Three Arrested in Kuwait Over Reckless Driving as Vehicles Sent to Crusher

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 7: The General Directorate of Traffic, represented by the Security Control Department, has apprehended three individuals accused of reckless and irresponsible driving that endangered their lives and the lives of other road users.

The arrests followed the monitoring of a video clip documenting the violations. After conducting the necessary investigations, traffic authorities identified the suspects, took legal action against them and referred them to the Central Prison.

The vehicles used in the incident were also impounded pursuant to a court order for their confiscation in favor of the Ministry of Interior, in accordance with Article 33 bis of the Traffic Law.

The General Directorate of Traffic warned that reckless driving and behavior that endangers the lives of motorists and other road users will not be tolerated. Authorities stressed that violators will face the prescribed legal measures.
