KUWAIT CITY, Oct 18: The Deputy Public Prosecutor has instructed forensic experts to collect fingerprints and any other potential evidence left behind by unknown thieves. This directive followed a report filed by a citizen, acting as the legal representative of an oil company, regarding a theft at the company’s site in Bar Al-Rawdatain. According to the report, the stolen items included seven cables, each measuring eight meters in length. The incident has been officially registered as a theft and classified as a felony.
In a separate case, the Deputy Public Prosecutor also ordered forensic teams to be dispatched to the Bar Al-Mutlaa area. This action came after a citizen, serving as an authorized representative of the Ministry of Electricity and Water, reported a fault in the electrical connections at a ministry site. Upon inspection, technical teams discovered that the site had been broken into. The stolen items included a fenced electrical tower, and the perpetrators had climbed the perimeter to remove 415 circular fence wires, each 19 mm in diameter, along with seven iron support angles. The total value of the stolen materials has been estimated at KWD 2,128.
