Car, cables stolen, vehicles damaged
KUWAIT CITY, April 24: A private military facility in Al-Mutla’a under construction and belonging to the Kuwait Army was subjected to theft according to an observer working in the army’s engineering department, reports Al-Rai daily. He told the area police station that the thieves escaped with a car, electric cables and destroyed several other vehicles in an attempt to steal parts of these vehicles. A felony case has been registered, while the case has been handed over to the personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department.
In another development , the Supreme Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergencies has forwarded the list of officers, non-commissioned officers and civilian employees at the Ministry of Defense and National Guard entitled to the frontliners’ incentive to the Council of Ministers, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources. Sources told the daily that the Council of Ministers will approve the list in the first session, which will be held after the official approval of its resignation.
Sources explained a directive had earlier been issued to include the frontliners’ incentive to the urgent matters that the caretaker government should deal with, especially since the legislative and executive authorities have already approved the budget for the incentive of public sector employees who worked during the Corona pandemic.
