The Scientific Center rolls out 'STEAM bus' to make science accessible and fun for students
Students explore scientific concepts in a fun and engaging way.

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 3: The Scientific Center, part of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), launched on Tuesday the "STEAM Bus" initiative, a mobile educational program providing school students across Kuwait with interactive scientific experiences.

The initiative includes live experiments and simplified presentations designed to teach scientific concepts in an enjoyable and relatable way. Students can explore concepts in optics, energy, and motion through activities led by a team specialized in making science accessible and stimulating curiosity.

Mohammad Al-Sanousi, Deputy Director General of Visitor Experience at the center, told KUNA that the program extends the earlier "Science Bus" initiative and aims to break the boundaries of traditional classrooms by reaching public and private schools according to an organized schedule.

Al-Sanousi said the STEAM Bus reflects the center’s commitment to developing innovative educational methods that engage students, strengthen their connection to science, and encourage exploration and learning.

Schools interested in booking a visit to the STEAM Bus can register through the center’s official website at www.tsck.org.kw.
