Tests to be conducted at health centers soon

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 10: The Ministry of Health is preparing to launch a new service as part of its series of procedures to confront the Corona pandemic booking by appointments for people who want to conduct tests to detect whether or not they have been infected with coronavirus through preventive health centers.

Sources reported that the specified period for receiving those wishing to perform the tests will be from 9 am until 12 noon initially, to be conducted at a rate of 12 visitors in each preventive health center, chosen by the Public Health Department in each health area separately.

As for the targeted groups, the sources indicated that every person who has symptoms similar to corona infection can book appointment through a link that the ministry will announce later as well as people who may be in contact with cases that have been revealed to have been infected or whoever was not contacted by preventive health centers before.

The service is expected to be launched next week noting that the tests will be through a nasal swab, and that it will also include citizens and expats, with the aim of control the virus’s spreading points and controlling rates, noting that preparations are continuing in preparation for the start It is immediately approved.
