Terror suspect for probe; Arms found in car

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 1: The Interior Ministry plans to refer the military man, who was caught for possessing unlicensed arms and ammunition and a kind of materials said to be used to manufacture explosives in his home in Andalus, to the Public Prosecution, reports Al-Anba daily quoting a security source. However, during interrogation the suspect is said to have denied the accusation that he belongs to any extremist organization.

Arms found in car: Police are looking for an unidentifi ed person for possession of arms and ammunition, and a cleaver, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to security sources the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received calls about a person in Jahra was shooting in the air. When police rushed to the spot, the suspect reportedly abandoned the four-wheeler and escaped. In the car, police found two pistols, rounds of ammunition, a magazine and a cleaver.
