KUWAIT CITY, Jul 18: Kuwait International Airport is set to expand the use of Terminal 4 (T4) as a number of Arab and international airlines prepare to commence operations from the facility, in a move aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and improving the overall passenger experience.

The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to optimize airport operations and accommodate growing travel demand while maintaining high standards of service and convenience for travelers.

Authorities said the expansion of airline operations at T4 will contribute to smoother passenger flow, reduced congestion, and more efficient handling of flights. The move is also designed to provide travelers with a seamless journey through modern facilities and upgraded services.

The project is being implemented in cooperation with Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), which is working alongside airport stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of additional carriers into the terminal.

Officials emphasized that the expansion reflects Kuwait’s commitment to strengthening its aviation infrastructure and delivering world-class airport services, with Terminal 4 offering advanced facilities, streamlined procedures, and enhanced amenities aimed at meeting the highest standards of comfort and quality.

The addition of Arab and international airlines to Terminal 4 is expected to further reinforce Kuwait International Airport’s position as a key regional aviation hub while improving travel experiences for passengers arriving in and departing from the country.
