Temporary dwellings for 25,000 expat laborers

KUWAIT CITY, March 21: The Ministry of Public Works is planning to erect temporary dwellings for some 25,000 expatriate laborers working at the Health Ministry under contract as part of the measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

In a statement obtained by KUNA, the Public Works Ministry’s Abdullah Al-Ajmi said that the decision was taken during a meeting with Health Ministry representatives.

A field inspection will be conducted to make sure that the temporary dwellings were up to proper living standards.
