LOS ANGELES, Nov 27, (Agencies): Taylor Swift is extending her compassion to bring solace and comfort in the wake of a tragedy. The renowned “Anti-Hero” performer took a moment before her Sunday show to connect with the family of Ana Clara Benevides Machado.

Ana Clara, a 23-year-old college student, tragically passed away just hours before Swift’s concert in Rio on Nov 17, succumbing to cardiac arrest, likely exacerbated by the intense heat wave. The grieving family gathered at São Paulo’s Allianz Parque stadium for a meeting with Swift.

Prior to the commencement of the Eras Tour show on Sunday, Swift engaged with the family, sharing moments and capturing photographs together, which were subsequently shared on social media. In the group picture, family members flanked Swift, all smiles, donning T-shirts featuring Benevides’ visage on the front.

Expressing her grief over Benevides’ untimely demise, the “Lover” singer had previously posted a heartfelt statement on Instagram the morning after the tragedy.
