Taylor Swift

LOS ANGELES, Oct 28, (Agencies): Taylor Swift has reportedly entered the realm of billionaires, according to a recent analysis by Bloomberg News. Thanks to her highly successful Eras tour, the "Bejeweled" singer's net worth now surpasses $1 billion. Swift has achieved this status solely through her music and performances, placing her among the elite group of billionaire musicians.

Swift's net worth has surged to approximately $1.1 billion, six months after embarking on her career-spanning Eras tour in March. Bloomberg's report indicates that her concert series, which attracted fans across generations and brought beaded friendship bracelets back into vogue, contributed a remarkable $4.3 billion to the country's gross domestic product.

The analysis considered the estimated values of Swift's music catalog, her five residences, earnings from streaming, music sales, concert tickets, and merchandise. It is also estimated that the Eras tour has generated more than $700 million in ticket sales to date. In November, the "Cruel Summer" singer is set to resume her live shows, with multiple stops in South America.

Swift's hard work on the Eras tour is yielding various rewards. Her film, "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour," has dominated the box office. Earlier this month, "Eras" raked in $96 million during its initial four days in the domestic box office, marking the highest opening for a concert film. During the weekend, Swift's film outperformed Martin Scorsese's crime epic "Killers of the Flower Moon."

October has been an eventful month for Swift, who shows no signs of slowing down. Alongside her high-profile relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Swift released "1989 (Taylor's Version)," a reimagined edition of her Grammy-winning "1989" album.

This latest release is part of Swift's ongoing efforts to regain ownership of her six-album catalog, which she lost when Scooter Braun acquired and subsequently sold her record label, Big Machine. In an Instagram post, Swift expressed her appreciation for the support she has received from her fans: "A part of me was reclaimed in 2023 with the re-release of this album I love so dearly. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine the magic you would sprinkle on my life for so long?"
