LOS ANGELES, Oct 30, (Agencies): Taylor Swift, the pop sensation who recently joined the billionaire ranks, is on a record-breaking spree this year. The American singer-songwriter has achieved another milestone, as her remastered album, ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version),’ shattered her own records by becoming the most-streamed album on Spotify just one day after its release.

According to Spotify, Taylor Swift also claimed the title of the most-streamed artist in a single day. This reimagined edition of her album ‘1989,’ featuring new tracks, outpaced her previous release, ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version),’ by a substantial margin. Notably, it took ‘Speak Now’ a couple of days to secure the top spot, whereas ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ achieved it in just one day.

While Spotify didn’t disclose the exact figures for the album or Taylor Swift’s total streams, they did highlight that the new Vault track, ‘Slut! (Taylor’s Version),’ debuted at No. 1 in the United States with 5.2 million streams and globally with 11.3 million streams.

On the global chart, another non-Vault track, ‘Style (Taylor’s Version),’ made a strong debut with 11.6 million streams, as reported by ‘Variety.’

Originally released in 2014, ‘1989’ included chart-toppers like ‘Shake It Off,’ ‘Bad Blood,’ ‘Wildest Dreams,’ ‘Blank Space,’ and ‘Style.’

In addition to the re-recorded versions of all 16 tracks from the original album, ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ includes five ‘From the Vault’ tracks. On Spotify’s global Top 50 chart, this album dominates with the first 17 songs all hailing from ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version),’ and all 21 tracks securing positions within the top 25.
