LOS ANGELES, Jan 15: Pop star Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce, who announced their engagement in August 2025, are taking a relaxed approach to wedding planning, according to insiders.

Sources told Rob Shuter’s #NaughtyButNice on Substack that the couple is prioritizing time together over formal wedding arrangements. “They’re not even halfway through the guest list,” one source said. “Right now it’s more about enjoying time together than crunching spreadsheets.”

The pair recently marked their first date of the year with a low-key dinner at Funke in Beverly Hills on January 12. Despite ongoing speculation about a wedding date and location, insiders report that Swift and Kelce are in no rush.

One reason for the measured pace could be uncertainty surrounding Kelce’s NFL future. The Kansas City Chiefs ended their 2025 season on January 4 without making the playoffs. A source said, “Travis is still figuring out if he’s playing next year. They don’t want to stress over a wedding when there’s so much else going on.”
