MUSCAT, Oct 20: A tanker was involved in an incident with military forces approximately 121 nautical miles east of Duqm, Oman, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported.

In Advisory 178-26, UKMTO said the incident occurred at 1000 UTC on Oct 19, 2026, amid ongoing military activity in the region.

According to the advisory, the tanker was subject to an interaction with military forces. The nature of the interaction was not specified, and no further details were provided about the vessel, the forces involved or whether any damage or casualties were reported.
