KUWAIT CITY, July 22: Researcher Fahad Faris Al-Jarba announced that his meeting with Ahmed Al-Jarallah, the Editor-in-Chief of Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers and Dean of Kuwaiti journalism, to discuss documents related to the Red Palace has drawn interest from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) regarding the palace and its historical significance, reports Al-Seyassah daily. In a post on his X account, Al-Jarba explained that his meeting with Al-Jarallah last year, which included a review of the scientific and historical file on the Red Palace, supported by English-language documents, received a significant international response. This development marks a new step toward nominating the Red Palace for inclusion on the World Heritage List. Al-Jarba indicated that the documents prepared and compiled have helped strengthen Kuwait’s nomination file. He expressed hope that these efforts will eventually lead to the Red Palace being inscribed on the World Heritage List
