‘Take action on railway project’

The approved activities include watch repair, traditional food, flower and plant, and mobile phone shops, and a mill. The Council approved the request of the Ministry of Social Affairs to allocate a site for the construction of a diwaniya in Haiteen. It approved the renovation of Ibn Bahr Heritage Mosque and the parking area in Sharq. The Municipal Council approved the request of the Ministry of Finance to allocate bank branches outside the district center, following the transfer of responsibility from Kuwait Finance House to the ministry. It approved the ‘Park and Ride’ project. It also approved the requests of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, such as the allocation of a route for an underground cable in West Abdullah Al-Mubarak residential area extending to the cloud data center site in Sulaibiya agricultural area, and allocation of a secondary substation in Fahaheel, linked to Shaddadiya and extending to the cloud data center site.

The Municipal Council approved the amendment of the 1963 resolution issued by the council on the development of the main freshwater and saltwater reservoirs in the Central Region. It approved the allocation of sites for stations in Mutlaa and Jal Al-Atraf, near the tent market. It also approved the request of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to relocate and expand the site of a mosque in Jahra, specifically within the camel breeding project. On the other hand, the council referred the request to establish and validate the foundational planning reference for the railway project within the planning framework of the State to the executive body for action.
