Tajikistan, Kuwait ties deep-rooted, robust

On the occasion of the New Year, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Kuwait, H.E. Zubidullah Zubidov, extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes to His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect him, and to His Highness the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al- Hamad Al-Sabah. Ambassador Zubidov wished Their Highnesses continued good health and well-being, and extended his best wishes to the leadership, government, and people of the State of Kuwait for continued security, stability, progress, and prosperity.

The Ambassador affirmed that relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the State of Kuwait are deep-rooted and robust, founded on mutual respect and shared understanding. He noted the steady development witnessed in bilateral relations across political, economic, and developmental fields, reflecting the shared commitment of the leadership of both friendly countries to strengthening cooperation and expanding areas of partnership. He further praised the comprehensive development and reform process taking place in the State of Kuwait across various sectors, stressing that these achievements reflect the forward- looking and visionary leadership of His Highness the Amir, and his commitment to building a modern state and advancing sustainable development, in a manner that benefits Kuwaiti citizens and enhances Kuwait’s regional and international standing.

Ambassador Zubidov also highlighted the esteemed position the State of Kuwait enjoys in the Republic of Tajikistan, in recognition of its prominent humanitarian and developmental role, as well as its constructive efforts at the regional and international levels in supporting stability and development. He pointed out that the coming phase holds promising opportunities to further enhance cooperation between the two countries in the fields of investment, sustainable development, and cultural exchange, in a way that deepens the historical and humanitarian ties between the two friendly peoples and serves their mutual interests.

The Ambassador concluded his statement by expressing the Republic of Tajikistan’s aspiration to continue coordination and consultation with the State of Kuwait in the New Year, and to further advance bilateral relations toward broader horizons, reinforcing strategic partnership and consolidating bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly countries
