KUWAIT CITY, Nov 1: Al-Sahel coach Ali Abdulredha has stepped down after his team's 3-2 defeat to Tadamon in the seventh round of the Zain Premier League.

Abdulredha is the third coach to leave his post this season, following Al-Arabi's dismissal of Croatian coach Goran Sablic and Tadamon's parting ways with Bosnian coach Igor Remetic.

The defeat was Al-Sahel's fourth of the campaign, leaving it 10th in the standings with four points.

Tadamon, meanwhile, finally opened its winning account after six successive defeats, staging an impressive comeback to claim all three points.

Fadel Al-Sarraf gave Al-Sahel the lead in the 11th minute, but Abdulrahman Al-Rashidi restored parity for Tadamon in the 40th minute.

Al-Rashidi struck again in the 72nd minute to put Tadamon ahead, before Saud Qasim added a third just three minutes later. Alain de Souza pulled one back for Al-Sahel in the 87th minute, but Tadamon held on for their first victory of the season.

In the other match, Sulaibikhat produced a dramatic late equalizer to earn a 2-2 draw against Salmiya at Al-Sadaqa wa Al-Salam Stadium.

Lucas Souza put Sulaibikhat ahead in the 20th minute, but Mubarak Al-Fanini equalized for Salmiya deep into first-half stoppage time (45+6).

Salmiya then regained the lead through Tresor in the fifth minute of added time, only for Abdullah Al-Awadhi to rescue a point for Sulaibikhat with an equalizer in the 11th minute of stoppage time (90+11).

The draw lifted Salmiya to 10 points in fifth place, while Sulaibikhat moved to four points in 11th.

The seventh round concludes on Tuesday with one fixture as Al-Nasr takes on Al-Shabab at Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium at 6:45 pm.

Al-Nasr, on 12 points, will seek a third consecutive victory to maintain their pursuit of the league leaders.

Al-Shabab, who has seven points, will be eager to bounce back after losing 2-0 to Fahaheel in the previous round.
