Syrian Expat Wanted Over KD 500,000 Financial Claims Arrested in Hawally

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 8: Criminal Investigation Department officers have arrested a Syrian national who was wanted under an arrest warrant over financial claims totaling approximately KD 500,000.

The Maidan Hawally and Shaab Investigations Department arrested the suspect, identified by his initials (Kh.Q.), born in 1978, after receiving information about his whereabouts following a period in hiding.

Investigators set up a security ambush at the location and succeeded in apprehending him without resistance. He was subsequently referred to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures.
