Syrian beats up Egyptian Doctor in Sulaibiya clinic

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 13: The Ministry of Interior’s control room received a report of an attack on a doctor in the Sulaibiya dispensary, and immediately a patrol moved to the location, and upon its arrival it became clear that the attacker struck a Egyptian doctor and fled to an unknown destination the doctor was transferred to Jahra Hospital for treatment.

A security source stated that the security men went to the hospital, and they found that the doctor had suffered a leg fracture and bruises in the knee to which he needed to be admitted in the hospital.

The source added that the security forces obtained the medical report of the defendant, and after examining the records of the attacker in the clinic to reveal the identity of the attacker. After reviewing it was found that he had come with his son and it was clear from the civil number and name he was a Syrian national.

During intense discussion between him and the doctor which exceeded his limits and beat him and caused him the injuries which were documented in medical report.

The security source stated that the security men informed the prosecutor’s attorney, and he ordered the case to be registered (felonies, under the name of insulting and assaulting a public official during the performance of his duty). The case was referred to the General Department of Criminal Investigation to arrest the accused and bring him to investigate the circumstances of the incident and take the necessary legal measures against him.
