KUWAIT CITY, July 15: Personnel from the Residence Affairs Investigations Department have arrested two expatriates — a Syrian, and a Bangladeshi — for forging ‘To Whom It May Concern’ certifiates on the letter heads of the Public Institution for Housing Welfare, reports Al-Rai daily. Acting on information, police raided a place at an unidentified location and caught the forgers in the act and seized from them forged certificates and stamps of the institute and handed them over to the concerned authority.Egyptian arrested: Customs officers at the Air Cargo section have taken into custody an Egyptian for attempting to smuggle drugs into the country, reports Al-Rai daily. The man was seized when he went to collect a parcel which was sent to him by an unidentified person from an Arab country. The parcel contained 162 narcotic pills and 12 fingers of hashish. The officers discovered the contents of the parcel and arrested the Egyptian after he signed the receipt of the parcel.
