Suspicious Vehicle Check Leads to Arrest of Bangladeshi Expat Wanted for 24,000 KD Debt

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 28: Kuwait police from the capital have arrested a Bangladeshi expatriate who was wanted under an arrest warrant over an outstanding debt of 24,000 Kuwaiti dinars.

The man was apprehended while accompanied by his Kuwaiti wife during a security patrol in the Shuwaikh area near the United Nations Roundabout.

According to security sources, patrol officers became suspicious of a vehicle and stopped it for inspection. After requesting identification documents from the driver and his passenger, officers discovered that the driver, identified as (A.A) a Bangladeshi national born in 1989, had an active arrest warrant issued against him.

The suspect was taken into custody and referred to the relevant authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures.
