Suspicious Behavior Leads to Arrest of 21-Year-Old for Drug Possession

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: A 21-year-old man was taken into custody by the General Department for Drug Control on suspicion of drug use. According to a security source, a traffic patrol in the Al-Ardiya Industrial Area of Farwaniya Governorate noticed a pedestrian acting nervously. When officers asked for identification, the man presented his ID through the "My Kuwait Identity" app. During the check, a transparent bag containing a crystalline substance, suspected to be narcotics, was seen beneath his phone, along with drug paraphernalia. He was immediately detained and, along with the seized items, referred to the General Department for Drug Control for further legal action.
