Suspected infection among workers in fish market

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 5: A building has been quarantined where number of expats working in the fish market have been suspected of being infected with the Coronavirus reports Al Qabas

The Director General of the Municipality Eng. Ahmed Al-Manfouhi decided to close all fish markets to the public and limit it to sell to cooperative societies, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, and fish shops.

He also issued another decision to close all markets selling sheep and livestock to the public and it is allowed to sell through slaughterhouses to sell the meat to cooperative societies, supermarkets, meat stores, restaurants and hotels.

He requested that the Food and Nutrition Authority be informed of this decision and its implementation from the date of its issuance
