KUWAIT CITY, July 31: The General Administration of Correctional Institutions conducted a surprise raid at Central Prison No. 1, Ward 4, early morning earlier this week, uncovering a significant amount of contraband.

During the operation, authorities discovered narcotics, drug paraphernalia, bladed weapons, and mobile phones concealed in various locations within the ward. The early-morning raid aimed to curb the presence of illegal items in the facility.

A security source informed Al-Anba that the raid was part of an ongoing effort to address contraband issues within the prison system. The source emphasized that such inspections will continue relentlessly to ensure that all prohibited items are removed from the prisons.

The General Administration of Correctional Institutions has committed to maintaining strict vigilance and carrying out regular inspections to uphold security and order within the correctional facilities.
