Supreme Committee holds meeting to assess Kuwait’s readiness for the Gulf Cup

Daoud Marafi, the Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs and Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Communications chairs the meeting of the Supreme Committee.

KUWAIT CITY, March 18: The 26th edition of the Supreme Committee for Hosting the Gulf Cup convened a meeting two days ago, on Sunday, chaired by Daoud Marafi, the Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs and Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Communications.

The meeting took place at the headquarters of the General Sports Authority, with Youssef Al-Baidan, the Director General of the Authority and Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, and Abdullah Al-Shaheen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Football Association, in attendance. Representatives from the Kuwait Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Interior, the General Fire Force, the Ministry of Electricity, the Ministry of Works, and the Gulf Football Association were also present.

During the meeting, thorough discussions were held regarding all arrangements for Kuwait’s hosting of the upcoming tournament scheduled for December. The committee focused on addressing the observations made by the inspection committee during their visit to the stadiums and facilities designated to host the tournament, ensuring a seamless and successful event.
