KUWAIT CITY, Aug 30: The Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced on Tuesday that their summer travel plans was extremely successful, whereas it provided services for more than four million travelers. DGCA Deputy Director-General for Kuwait International Airport’s affairs Saleh Al-Fadaghi told KUNA that the airport had witnessed a growth in the number of travelers this year in comparison to last year after the lift of Coronavirus (COVID-19) preventative measures.
He added that Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah and Istanbul are the most demanded destinations this summer, and that Kuwait International Airport has “successfully” surpassed the unstable situation of that it witnessed in 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. (KUNA)
