KUWAIT CITY, Jan 7: Sulaibikhat Club faces a challenging clash against league leaders and defending champions Kuwait Club tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the seventh round of the season. The match will take place at the Volleyball Hall of the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex, while Al-Nasr and Al-Qadsia meet earlier at 5:30 p.m.
Kuwait Club tops the standings with 17 points, followed by Al-Arabi with 15, Al-Qadsia with 13, Sulaibikhat has 1, Kazma with 8, Al-Shabab and Burgan have 7 each, Al-Yarmouk with 3, and Al-Nasr and Al-Sahel at the bottom with zero points.
Sulaibikhat has delivered its strongest performances in years this season, winning its first four matches against Al-Nasr, Al-Yarmouk, Al-Arabi, and Kazma, before falling to Al-Qadsia in the previous round. Tonight’s match presents a major test, and a Kazma win over Al-Yarmouk could see Sulaibikhat drop to fifth place. The team is also aiming to secure a spot in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Kuwait Club is focused on maintaining its title-winning momentum and advancing in the league with minimal losses and injuries.
