KUWAIT CITY, May 26: Al-Sulaibikhat’s handball team has finalized its foreign signings for the 2026-2027 season by bringing in Serbian player Jovan Milseftch, who becomes the club’s third overseas recruit.

The move follows earlier deals for Brazilian international Leandro da Silva and French player Nicolas Claire, as the club continues strengthening its first-team squad ahead of the new campaign.

First-team manager Hussein Saiwan praised the club’s board and technical committee for their strong backing in preparing the team in a way that reflects Al-Sulaibikhat’s ambitions before the season begins.

He expressed full confidence in head coach Hussein Habib and the players, stressing their ability to deliver strong performances and achieve positive results.

Saiwan said the team faces an important challenge next season, confirming that work is ongoing to sign additional local players. He added that talks are underway with four players, in coordination with the coach’s recommendations, who have full authority in selecting the squad.

He emphasized that the club’s management is committed to providing all necessary support for the new technical staff to help the team meet its ambitions, noting that success will require greater effort and unity from everyone involved.

Saiwan also revealed that Hussein Habib was appointed after a detailed review of several candidates, highlighting his experience, understanding of local players, and ability to build a competitive team for upcoming competitions
