KUWAIT CITY, Oct 31: Omani volleyball player Falah Salim, widely known as “Al-Koubi,” arrived in Kuwait to complete his move to Sulaibikhat, where he will make his first professional appearance abroad during the current season.
The player was received at the airport by team manager Ahmed Refaat and captain Nawaf Al-Enezi. He is expected to join the team’s training sessions ahead of its upcoming commitments.
Salim’s arrival is expected to strengthen Sulaibikhat’s squad, with the Omani international bringing valuable experience and an impressive record at Arab and continental levels.
He previously won the Best All-Round Player award at the West Asian Championship with Oman’s national team and was named Best Outside Hitter (Position 4) at the Arab Championship.
His last club was Oman’s Al-Bashayer before making the move to Sulaibikhat for his first overseas professional experience.
The club’s coaching staff is hoping his arrival will provide the team with a significant boost as they seek to compete for honours and achieve their ambitions this season.
