KUWAIT CITY. May 13: Therapeutic Nutrition Specialist Heba Ben Salama has warned secondary stage students from consuming energy drinks that they think could improve their memory and concentration. She said such drinks are dangerous because of the high caffeine content which is bad for the heart, kidneys and other internal organs. She advised them to avoid fastfood while stressing the need to eat healthy foods especially during exams. She also urged the students to avoid staying up late nights before exams as they have to get enough sleep – seven or eight continuous hours a day.
