Team Leader Hanan Al-Mohammad said in a press statement that the health requirements committee consists of the Public Authority for Manpower, Kuwait Fire Force’s Prevention Sector, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Interior Ministry and Kuwait Municipality. She added that the committee has since the beginning of its work registered violations in 422 commercial establishments that did not comply with the health requirements, pointing out that the committee has intensified inspections on beauty salons and warned them to comply with the health requirements.

Regarding weddings and parties, Al-Mohammad stressed that the committee is intensifying its efforts to prevent any violations in this regard. She pointed out to the lack of commitment by customers to the social distancing within salons and sport clubs, and failure to wear masks trigger legal measures.

Al-Mohammad called on salons and health clubs to implement a timetable system to avoid any irregularities and to comply with health requirements to combat the spread of coronavirus COVID-19.(KUNA)
