Stop using plastic bags

KUWAIT CITY, July 6: Environmental Affairs Committee Chairperson in the Municipal Council Eng Maha Al-Baghli has affirmed that plastic waste, especially plastic bags, are the most dangerous substances to the wild and marine environment as they are non-biodegradable, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Speaking to the daily, Al-Baghli stressed the need to stop using plastic bags and replace them with biodegradable bags or encourage people to use recyclable bags. She pointed out many countries, including Bahrain, have stopped using plastic bags.
